Casting Process
in 10 Steps
- Step 1 - Build the characters' profile with the director
- Step 2 - Research, Research, Research
- Step 3 - Find the talent in several websites and agents' database
- Step 4 - Post casting ads in different platforms, such as Spotlight, Mandy, Backstage, Casting Networks...
- Step 5 - Manage applications, scan through showreels and send personal invites to actors and agents
- Step 6 - List candidates in detail so the director can check the progress
and organise the schedule
- Step 7 - Good communication with the director, actors and agents throughout the whole process
- Step 8 - Be present in the casting days and pay attention to performance, body language and behaviour
- Step 9 - Watch the tapes over and over and take important notes
- Step 10 - Help the director make the best decision and watch the magic happens
